Terms & Conditions - the basics

Ship Auto Transport LLC is a licensed auto transport broker, not a carrier. We arrange transportation of motor vehicles through qualified, insured, and licensed motor carriers. We do not own or operate any trucks or physically transport vehicles.

2. Quotes & Pricing

All quotes are based on the information you provide regarding the vehicle, pickup and delivery locations, and timing.
Quotes are valid for a limited time and may change based on market conditions, fuel prices, or carrier availability.
Final pricing may be adjusted if incorrect or incomplete information is provided

3. Booking & Payment

No upfront payment is required to request a quote or book service. Once a carrier is assigned and confirmed, you will be notified, and a non-refundable broker fee is charged. The remaining balance is paid directly to the carrier at pickup or delivery, typically in cash, certified check, or as otherwise agreed.

4. Cancellations & Refunds

You may cancel your order any time before a driver is assigned at no cost.
If a carrier has already been assigned, the broker fee is non-refundable
.A full refund is only issued if no carrier is able to pick up your vehicle within a reasonable time frame.

5. Carrier Responsibility

All motor carriers assigned through Ship Auto Transport LLC are required to carry liability and cargo insurance as mandated by the FMCSA. The carrier, not Ship Auto Transport LLC, is responsible for any damages incurred during transit. It is your responsibility to inspect the vehicle upon pickup and delivery and document any damage on the Bill of Lading.

6. Vehicle Preparation

You agree to:

Ensure the vehicle is operable (unless otherwise stated).
Remove all personal belongings and valuables from the vehicle except 100 Lbs free
Provide accurate pickup and delivery addresses and be available or have a representative present at both ends.

7. Delivery Timeframes

Delivery estimates are not guaranteed and may vary due to weather, road conditions, traffic, and carrier scheduling. Delays do not constitute grounds for refunds unless explicitly stated.

8. Limitation of Liability

Ship Auto Transport LLC is not liable for

Delays, loss, or damages caused by the carrier.
Items left in the vehicle.
Mechanical or operational issues unrelated to transport.
